The Union joins lawyers in celebrating International Women's Day.

Ms. Ahlam Rajab, President of the Bahrain Women Union, along with the board members, Ms. Hashmeya Al Sayed, Ms. Iman Al Asfour, and Ms. Rawaa Al Sheikh, attended the Bahrain Bar Association's celebration on the occasion of International Women's Day, which fell on March 8, 2025, at the headquarters of the Bahrain Bar Association in Adliya.
The celebration, titled "Women's Progress: Past and Present/Rights, Equality, and Empowerment for All Women and Girls," featured the presentation of several working papers by MP Dr. Maryam Al-Dhaen, Ms. Maryam Al-Ruwaie, President of the Excellence Center for Consulting and Development, Dr. Amira Al-Qayem, a member of the Bahrain Bar Association, and Dr. Wafaa Al-Wafi from the University of Bahrain. The celebration was attended by members of the Bar Association and women's associations.
